Imagine your typical classroom. Now imagine that classroom without walls, a ceiling or a floor…welcome to outdoor education!

Do you like American history? How about nature? Are you a hands-on learner? Then you’re going to absolutely love our outdoor education programs. Children, and adults too, will get to choose and enjoy entertaining and challenging learning experiences of various degrees. You’ll see first hand we have some of the best examples of experiential outdoor education anywhere.

Kids were engaged with the programs, which were delivered at the right level for the age group. The staff did a particularly good job of asking questions to involve the kids, but also to gauge the knowledge level of the class.” Lisa B.

You can learn about the importance of riverbanks (aka riparian zones), the water cycle, the Gold Rush and also Native American History. For more challenging learning experiences, groups can have fun with our challenge ropes course, life skills programs, and other team building activities. Outdoor education should always be this fun!
