The food was perfect, too, and we appreciated its simplicity and healthfulness. We truly enjoyed the experience, and all of us came away asking just one question: ‘When are we going to do it again???’

Healthy Food Made with Love

This season, Mother Lode is taking great strides to improve the quality and sustainability of our kitchen.  All of our meals will be made with the freshest, best tasting ingredients, using organic products whenever possible. This year, our kitchen has partnered with local homestead farmers to recycle our food waste. Their homestead hogs will benefit from the food scraps! Our goal this year is to eliminate 50% of the garbage waste from our kitchen.

Breakfast

  • French toast, scrambled eggs, bacon, home fries and fresh fruit
  • Buttermilk blueberry pancakes, eggs, home fries, sausage and fresh fruit

  • Sandwiches (deli-style) Your choice of bread, turkey, chicken, and salami cold cuts, several cheeses, fresh tomatoes, bell peppers, lettuce, cucumbers, pickles, onion, artichoke hearts, sun-dried tomatoes, pesto, hummus, mayo, mustard and hot sauces of different persuasions, plus fresh fruit, chips and/or crackers, cookies, and lemonade.
